The floor is lava.
Two teams. One room full of lava. Nobody wins until every last teammate is across.
The rules are the whole game
Kids talk their way across. The ones waiting their turn call out where the next pad goes and steady whoever is reaching.
Two teams, one signal
Both teams cross at once. Nobody gets to watch the other group first.
Build your own path
No course is set up. Each team gets a pile of pads and stands on one to place the next.
Touch the lava, start over
That player goes back to the beginning. One slip can undo a whole plan.
Everyone has to make it
A team finishes when its last member is across, so the fast kids end up coaching.
What a class looks like
One hour, same shape every week.
Warm up
Games and movement to get bodies going and attention pointed the right way.
Technique and drills
A new way across each week, layered on the ones they already know.
Free play
Open time with the equipment to test what holds and fall off without it costing anything.
Team skirmishes
Teams get drafted on the spot, then go head to head under the full rules. This is what the hour builds toward.
Who it’s for
Kindergarten through 5th grade, no experience needed. The kid who never stops moving and the kid who thinks first are both useful on a team.
We bring everything and run the class on site. Currently serving Maryland and Northern Virginia.
