  • Payment information. At Henrietta Lacks Elementary School, tuition is collected directly by the school or PTA. For all other programs, payments are made securely through this website or an invoicing system using trusted third-party processors.
  • Photos and short video clips taken during classes, described in section 4.

2. How We Use Information

  • To register students and manage class rosters.
  • To communicate class reminders, updates, and schedule changes by email.
  • To provide class reports, including photos and videos, to parents and guardians.
  • To process payments for programs registered directly through this website or invoicing system.

Class reports (required). By enrolling, you agree that we may take photos and short video clips during class sessions. These are used exclusively for class reports, which are shared privately with parents and guardians of enrolled students in that class. Reports may be sent by email, either as direct attachments or as links to private shared albums. These photos and videos will not be used publicly unless you opt in for promotional use.

Promotional use (optional). With explicit opt-in consent, photos and videos may also be used for promotional purposes such as this website, flyers, or social media. Opting in is not required for participation.

5. Children’s Privacy

We collect limited student information, being name, age, and enrollment details, solely for class management. We do not create accounts for children, and we do not use children’s information for marketing.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure payment processing, password-protected systems, and limiting access to rosters. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
